1. Organisation Type

In order to be eligible for funding, your organisation must be a registered NGO or NPO.

2. Project focus region

The Kahane Foundation only accepts funding applications for projects taking place in the focus regions of Europe, the Middle East and North Africa.

Countries included in these focus areas:

Albania, Andorra, Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Moldova, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, San Marino, Serbia, Montenegro, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine, United Kingdom

The Middle East:
Bahrain, Cyprus, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, Yemen

North Africa
Algeria, Egypt, Libya, Morocco, Tunisia

3. Project Thematic Focus

The Kahane Foundation only accepts funding applications for projects in our thematic focus areas.

Our thematic focus areas:

  • Accessibility
    Allowing people with impairments access to everything society has to offer.
  • Social Mobility
    Providing young people with inclusive and innovative education, thereby fostering self-sufficiency.
  • Migration/Integration
    Offering migrants a chance to be part of inclusive communities and providing equal access to health care, education and social welfare.

Does/will the project in question fall into one of our three published thematic focus areas?
